What is included in a Shopify store setup service?

Do I need to buy a theme?
Not always. Shopify’s free themes are a good fit for many new stores. We will recommend a premium theme only if it gives you features you would otherwise need custom work or extra apps for.
Can you add all my products?
Yes. Small catalogs can be added by hand. Larger ones are imported by CSV from a spreadsheet or supplier file. We check variants, images and prices after the import.
Do you set up sales tax?
We set up Shopify’s tax settings based on where you tell us you need to collect tax. Tax rules depend on your business, so we recommend you confirm your obligations with your accountant. You stay responsible for your tax compliance.
How is this different from Shopify website design?
Store setup uses a good existing theme set up well. Shopify website design includes research, custom design and custom sections. Setup is a good first step for new brands. You can move to a custom design later without starting over.
Will I be able to run the store after launch?
Yes. That is the goal. We walk you through adding products, editing pages, running discounts and handling orders, and we are available for questions after launch.
